| The terms and conditions detailed below do not affect your statutory rights in relation to United Kingdom law. These include all of the current guidelines relating to the information that we hold about you and in order to clarify this we have a published separate Privacy statement. |

| We are contactable by phone Monday to Friday between the hours of 09.30am
and 5.00pm. At other times please leave a message and we will get back to
you within 24 hours. You can also contact us by e-mail or post. |
| Returns/Exchange Policy |
| In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the goods you receive
from halalsweeties.com, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. Please
state clearly what the problem is and we will action accordingly. Please note that all despatched products leave our premises fully packaged and in perfect condition. | Complaints |
| We will respond to complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve all complaints
within 7 working days. Any customer details passed to us are kept confidential
and you will be kept informed of the complaint process. The complaint will be recorded. We will put in place a resolution for resolving any dispute and inform you of all measures being taken to prevent a recurrence of the complaint. You may register your complaint by telephone, fax, e-mail or letter. |
| Stock Availability |
| We will always aim to deliver the goods you have requested and if the product you have chosen is not available we will substitue it for an alternative product.. Please note
on certain product lines i.e. Traditional sweets (mithai) and Gift Packs
we will deliver an assortment of the products. For the chocolates assortments we use only Lindt, Guylian and Duc d’O products. For mithai we only use Royal and Ambala Sweets. |
| Payment Details |
| Please note all transactions will be carried out in sterling. To our European customers we offer Euro pricing on our products but the payments will be accepted in sterling only. If you are ordering from a non-UK address, your credit/debit card company will apply the relevant foreign exchange rate and charges. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Electron and Solo. We sanction credit/debit card payments before we package your order so please ensure that you key in the correct details to avoid any delays in processing your order. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being given. We require you to supply the registered address of the Credit/Debit Cardholder, which is used to validate your order with your selected Credit Card Company. Failure to supply the correct details will result in your order being held pending the supply of the correct details. The total value of your order will be displayed on the order confirmation page. The displayed price is the amount in sterling pounds that you will pay. Your credit/debit card will be debited on the day your order is despatched. You can also pay by cheque (drawn in Sterling on a UK Bank), Postal Order (PO) and an International Money Order (IMO) (drawn in Sterling). All cheques, POs and IMOs should be made out to halalsweeties.com Ltd. However, please note goods will not be despatched until the monies are cleared. Please note that you should not send cash through the post. |

We use Protx to take secure encrypted on-line payments and at no time do
we have access to your credit/debit card details. The Protx payment system uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Protx internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Protx to obtain secure information. |
| Shipping |
| All orders received by 1pm Monday – Friday will be despatched the
same day. Any orders received after this time will be despatched the next
working day. Please remember that Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays are
not classed as working days. Please be aware that sweets are heavy food products. > UK deliveries weighing less than 1850g are sent by Royal Mail first class post or Parcel Force. • Weight of sweets o Up to 450g (0.450kg) £1.95 o Between 451g - 950g (up to 0.950kg) £2.95 o Between 951g - 1.850g (up to 1.850kg) £4.95 > UK deliveries weighing more than 1850g in weight are sent by courier - City Link. • Weight of sweets o Between 1851g and 5000g (up to 5kg) £6.95 Please note all courier deliveries will require a signature upon delivery. The sweets will be delivered the next working day. > Western European deliveries are sent by Royal Mail Air Mail. • Weight of sweets o Up to 1000g (up to 1kg) £5.95 o Between 1001g and 2000g (up to 2kg) £9.95 For sweets that weigh more than 5000g (5kg) in weight in UK or 2000g (2kg) in Europe, please phone to discuss prices. We do not guarantee delivery times but Royal Mail mainland UK deliveries will generally arrive within 3-5 working days and overseas deliveries within 4-7 working days. Deliveries made by courier will be delivered the next working day. If you require guaranteed delivery, next day delivery or any other special arrangements, please contact us for a quotation. In the order basket page, we have a ‘special requirement’ heading which allows you to input specific delivery arrangements e.g. leave the parcel with neighbour. Please use as appropriate. We will despatch to the address as you enter it, so please ensure that you enter the full address correctly. We regret that we are unable to accept orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box number or from persons placing an order whose own address contains a PO Box number. |
| Overseas Orders |
| If your order is being despatched to an address outside the UK, it is
possible that local customs may impose an additional import duties and customs
charges. You will be responsible for these charges as levied. We do not recommend shipping our perishable products to warm countries. As we have no control over the temperature during transit and upon arrival aboard, we cannot accept responsibility for melted products when shipped internationally. |
| Nut Information |
| Due to the wide range of suppliers and manufacturers we deal with and the size and variety of our own stock holding, we are unable to confirm with 100% certainty whether any products do or do not definitely contain nuts or traces of nut product. |
